    Products Designed for Real-Time Control Systems

    Acromag provides a full line of high-performance analog, digital I/O, and serial I/O bus boards for VMEbus, PCI, CompactPCI® Serial and CompactPCI® computer systems including XMC, AcroPack®, IndustryPack®, FPGAs, and PMC mezzanine modules.     FPGA Modules
    Acromag's user-configurable FPGA modules are ideal for embedded computer and high-performance control systems. Select from a variety of modules with Xilinx or Altera® FPGAs. Download your own application code into a powerful FPGA to perform custom signal processing functions.     VPX Single Board Computers
    VPX single board computers and VPX carrier cards are ideal for high-performance defense and scientific research systems requiring high-speed I/O with serial fabric interconnect technologies. VPX carrier cards provide a simple and cost-effective solution for interfacing an AcroPack®, PMC or XMC I/O modules to a VPX computer system.

    AcroPack® mPCIe-Based Mezzanine Modules
    AcroPack® modules improve on the mini PCIe form factor by adding a down-facing connector that securely routes I/O signals through the host carrier card without any extra cabling. Carrier cards are available in Mini-ITX, PCIe, VPX, XMC and other formats. These carriers provide direct access to the field I/O signals through front-panel CHAMP connectors or the rear backplane. At only 30 x 70mm per module, up to four AcroPacks can plug into a single carrier card in any I/O combination. More than 25 AcroPack modules are now offered for a wide variety of analog I/O, digital I/O, communication, and FPGA computing functions.

    CompactPCI (cPCI) Boards
    Acromag CompactPCI boards are well-suited for COTS, military and aerospace projects for harsh environments. Many models are available for a variety of analog and digital I/O functions. These modules offer an unmatched balance of performance, features, and price for the best value in CompactPCI I/O.

    Rugged Type 7 COM Express Modules
    The COM Express product platform includes Intel®-based CPU modules and Type 6 carrier cards. Additionally, support products are available for prototyping and production such as: development systems, MIL-DTL-38999 front panels, and an assortment of cables. 

    Embedded Computers
    The ARCX series of embedded computers offers great flexibility to meet ever-changing requirements for long-term applications with customizable-off-the-shelf (COTS) design  AcroPack®, PMC, XMC, Mini PCIe, M.2 and mSATA slots allow the addition of specialized I/O, storage, and FPGA modules. Optional removable solid state drives allow large amounts of data storage plus quick security access. These rugged, small form factor computers are designed for a variety of extreme rugged Mil-aero applications.

    Carrier Cards
    Acromag carrier boards and carrier cards are available in a number of form factors including: VME, VPX, PCI, PCIe, cPCI and cPCI Serial.

    XMC Modules
    XMC cards and modules provide a rugged, embedded computing platform for high-speed data communication in military/defense, aerospace, and research lab systems. The XMC board is the same size as the PMC board, however, XMC utilizes the PCIe bus that is native on many CPU boards and eliminates the need for a PCIe to PCI bridge chip. Combined with the selection of x1, x4, x8 or x16 serial lines, XMC enables the board designer to achieve higher bandwidth. XMC I/O modules will continue to provide dependable results from a wide selection of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) options at reasonable prices.

    Signal Conditioners & Network I/O
    Acromag signal conditioners and network I/O is ideal for a broad range of monitoring and control operations where controllers communicate with instrumentation on the plant floor or in the field. Signal Conditioners include signal transmitters, signal isolators, 4-20mA signal splitters, limit alarms and computation modules. These signal conditioners input voltage, current, thermocouple, RTD, frequency, thermistor, load cell, potentiometer, and discrete sensors. These signal conditioners output DC voltage and current, relay, frequency, pulse width modulation and display/readout.

    Acromag’s 3U VPX Processor Board offers enhanced performance on floating point-intensive applications and Hyper-Threading Technology. The VPX6600 is a high performance 3U OpenVPX™ single board computer based on the 6th Generation Skylake Intel® Xeon® processor and PCH. Designed for COTS applications this SBC utilizes the Intel C230 series PCH chipset for extensive I/O support.
